Wonderful Day Trip to Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
We booked Hernan Tour Guides Peru for a day trip to Pisac and Ollantaytambo with driver Issac and tour guide Justino, and had an absolutely perfect day with them. The perfect balance of local knowledge and insight, history of the Inca people, and attention to our personal interests. Perfectly paced, they were waiting out front of our hotel at the pick up time, and kept us on schedule without ever making us feel hurried. We saw the beautiful historic sites and also got a chance to shop a little. Justino helped translate for us whenever needed, showed us some great small local treats in case we wanted to try them, and pointed out a ton of cool things during the drive. The World's Best Tour Guide....👌
We've just returned home after three fabulous weeks in Peru.We visited Lima, The Amazon Rainforest, Lake Titicaca and Arequipa - but without a doubt, what made our trip extra-special was the eight days we spent in the company of Hernan and Isaac.Whilst with Hernan I hiked the 'One-day Inca Trail ' to Machu Picchu before returning to Machu Picchu the following morning with my wife (and Hernan).We visited The Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Moray and Salinas de Maras.....I also ascended Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) with Hernan.Hernan is a true gentleman - in every respect. He was always punctual, courteous and extremely enthusiastic about his native country. He always responded to any request prior to our arrival in Peru in a prompt and timely manner - often humorously - and always extremely efficiently. He knew all the best places to take photos and ensured that we were always well-informed and we felt that we did not miss a thing.We were so fortunate that Hernan was as passionate about Peruvian cuisine as we were - and under his guidance we visited many of the best restaurants in The Sacred Valley. We would never have found so many excellent restaurants if it was not for Hernan... This really added to our Peruvian experience....Thank you so very much ❤️His explanations and drawings at each of the Inca sites were exceptional - always easy to understand and very easy to follow.I can honestly say that our experience would not have been the same without Hernan. Trip of a lifetime!
Everything about this trip was a dream come true!! Thanks to Hernan, we visited the most beautiful places in Peru, including Pumamarca and Machu Picchu. We had a wonderful time seeing so much of the Sacred Valley. We felt like we were in the very best hands. Everything was taken care of so seamlessly. Our 4-day trek to Machu Picchu with Tour Guides Peru, led by the wonderful Hernan Hermosa, was an experience we’ll never forget! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized. Hernan is not only a great guide but also a fantastic storyteller and companion—his knowledge of Peru’s history, culture, flora, and fauna added so much depth to the journey.The team of porters and our chef were amazing, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well-fed each day. The food was delicious, with every meal feeling like a gourmet experience even out on the trails.Hernan took care of every detail and truly made sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying the journey. I can't express my gratitude and be so grateful to Hernan for his guide service. He assigned us Justino to be our guide of Cusco, sacred valley and Machu Pichu. Justino was a pleasure to be with and we couldn't have been in better hands. Justino was thoughtful extremely knowledgeable and patient as we navigated the steps up and down MP. Amazing trip experience with Hernan Tour Guides Peru Machupicchu
Hernan is extremely knowledgable and able to share his knowledge in an engaging and interactive way. He is local tour guide from Cusco and is fluent in English language. From the moment he met us with his driver Jonathan at the airport, we developed trust and confidence that he will provide great guiding service and he didn’t disappoint. Both Hernan and Jonathan are professional and very helpful.We are two friends traveling from Canada and before we arrived in Peru, Hernan was very quick to respond to our messages and questions by email and WhatsApp. He recommended best itinerary for the 4 days we spend in Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. He knows the area very well, and based on your budget he can also recommend hotels, restaurants and best places to visit. Everything worked out perfectly for us, and considering we arrived in January expecting rain, even the weather cooperated. A perfect guide for Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Cusco
I think now is the time to go to Peru. We had such a great experience visiting our "bucket list" wish of seeing Machu Picchu. We were so lucky that we had Hernan to guide us. From the time we arrived at Cusco until we departed Hernan helped us plan and visit many sites around the city and then he amazingly met us at Machu Picchu for a private tour catered to our interests. The sites are amazing but it was immeasurably better with Hernan's local expertise.
