    Beautifull Inca Trail

We took the 4-day trek with Machupicchu Guides Peru. There are multiple options available, but we believe we were lucky enough to be using the best tour operators. Our guide, Hernan, was very knowledgeable and provided meaningful context to what is a tough trek. For most meals, we received three or four courses, and hot cocoa tea, other teas, coffee and hot chocolate from first thing in the morning until the end of the day. The food was unbelievable - this is not an exaggeration! We trekked in early January, meaning it rained on and off, but the porters went out of their way to keep us dry and warm at camp sites. The experience was enhanced by a very cool, diverse group of 12 people, and I would recommend a group of this size to keep things interesting.
