Hotel pick up (5:00 am approx. ) Boarded the carriage towards the town of Mollepata about 2.5 hours to reach the village have breakfast (not included ) then continue by car to get to Cruz Pata to begin our hike 2-3 hours approximately , reaching Sayllapata in for lunch after our lunch we will have time to rest and continue our walk towards Soraypampa ( 3,850 m) in this part of the road we will be in front of the first snow called Humantay . Then we will be around 5 pm . Approx. our first camp where our chef will be waiting with some hot tea to regain your strength . After a short rest we will have dinner at the camp.
Early in the morning we leave our camp after a hearty breakfast with direction Salkantay ( 4,540 m) is the highest point along the route for about 4 hours climb this first step where we will have a short break to take the breathtaking view from this point is appreciated . Along the way we will find several mounds of stones called Apachetas . Then descend for about 1 hour for lunch and then continue walking for about 3 hours . up to Chaullay where is our second camp. Dinner and overnight.
After our breakfast we start Chaullay at 7:00 am . approx. to continue our walk towards where Collcapampa pass through narrow trails with abundant native to the area and the different types of orchids and waterfalls to be seen all the way flora. After 5 hours of walking finally arrive at Sawayaco also called the beach where we will take a carriage towards Santa Teresa town located at 1,645 meters above sea level for about 45 minutes we will be in Santa Teresa around 3.00 pm where we will settle . After a short break we will go to the medicinal baths (not included ) that is located 4.5 km approx. Santa Teresa. Dinner and overnight.
At 8:00 a.m. Approx. morning after our breakfast we will go by car for about 30 minutes to get to Hydropower , Hydroelectric after reaching continue walking about 2 hours to Aguas Calientes .
Arriving to Aguas Calientes you will settle into your accommodation and arrange the climb the next day to the city of Machu Picchu.
Very early in the morning (5.30am ) to transport we have breakfast on the first bus to take us to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu for about 30 minutes. Then we have our guided tour for about 2 hours where the guide took us through the most important points of the citadel, after our visit we will have the whole afternoon free to take photos and explore on our own in Machupicchu ( the time depends much train schedule be granted as it has to be half an hour before departure of your train at the station ), the other option is to climb the Huayna Picchu (not included ) to appreciate the breathtaking view of the citadel . Finally we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and then go to the station and wait for our train to take us back to the town of Ollantaytambo and then bus to Cusco where we will be approximately 11:30 pm.
